An Evening in the Gardens

We had a lovely evening strolling in the gardens at the University.

Summer is really starting to sneak up on us.

It was made even more beautiful by all the ladies in ball gowns strolling around.  They were enjoying the weather before going to an engagement of the Phantom.

There is no better way to cap off an evening in the gardens then with ice cream from the dairy store.  They make cheese and ice cream fresh from the dairy cattle on-campus. It's so good.  And, see what looks like a garbage can on the right.  That's actually a solar compactor.  Pretty neat.

It's always hard to decide on the right flavor.  There are too many choices.  Tonight, though, was a lemon custard night.  I was not disappointed.  Neither was Little Girl who helped me eat it and then helped The Mister finish his cinnamon ice cream.

I am looking forward to many more evenings like this.
