A new tradition we are adding this Christmas season is the Advent Chain. Little Boy's aunt was kind enough to make this chain on Thanksgiving with him. Everyday in December one chain is removed to help with the count down until Christmas. Its simple enough for even the smallest little ones. Some folks even include a bible reading or reminder of the Christmas spirit on each link to be read on that day. Just be sure to let the little ones know you will be deconstructing their chain. I didn't give Little Boy the heads up and he was very upset with me.
