I long for fall every year. Everything about it is so homey and cozy that I can't wait to thoss on a sweater and drink my apple cider. We were going along just fine, autumn was just begining to flirt with us, then life hit, and I am afraid fall has fallen away. Between illnesses, plans that just didn't work out, and other dissapointments I ended at the end of fall with nothing to show for it. So, as the leaves are being stripped of the branches from driving rain and wind, I am going to hold on to the best memory I have of this fall. A day at the apple orchard and farmers market and the wonderful lunch that followed.
