We tried to say goodbye to summer, but she was already gone.
The holiday was cold, rainy and windy.
Not at all what how you want to close out the season.
Luckily, there were a few bright moments.
The rain cleared up just enough for some beach combing.
And, acorn finding.
Today was back to school and back to routine.
At least, we have fall to revel in now.
