I wish my backyard lent itself better to line drying clothes. Between messy trees and a lack of dedicated space I haven't found a way to have a permanent line. On good days, I can string some rope up on my deck and have a temporary way to dry my laundry. Our electric bill benefits and we get wonderful smelling clothes and linens. The sun also provides a natural stain remover and whitener, which is a wonderful benefit when using cloth diapers. To top it all off, there is something very relaxing about watching clothes blowing in the wind.
